Garnering 7 Tony Nominations this season, Merrily won in 4 categories including Best Revival! Other big wins on Broadway's biggest night:
- Best Lead Actor in a Musical: Jonathan Groff
- Best Featured Actor in a Musical: Daniel Radcliffe
- Best Orchestrations: Jonathan Tunick

Merrily We Roll Along moves to Broadway!

Following the critically acclaimed and highly successful run off-Broadway this past winter, Merrily will move to Broadway, playing at the Hudson Theatre this Fall!
HanJie will be one of a few from the off-Broadway run who will be joining the creative team!
Directed by Maria Friedman, and a company led by Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez.
Webster's Bitch at Playhouse on Park

In this new original play, Webster's Bitch, written by Jacqueline Bircher, HanJie will be starring as Nick, alongside Tony Award Nominee Veanne Cox. Cast includes Mia Wurgaft, Isabel Monk Cade and Peter Simon Hilton. Directed by Vanessa Morosco (Executive Director, American Shakespeare Company).

Joining the stellar company of Merrily We Roll Along, HanJie will be the Costume Shop Associate at NYTW, working alongside Costume Designer and Scenic Designer Soutra Gilmour on this Sondheim revival. Directed by Maria Friedman. Stars Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez.
KPOP on Broadway

HanJie joins the creative design team of KPOP on Broadway. Having been part of the original iteration at Ars Nova, HanJie now joins this new Broadway production in a whole new capacity, as part of the Costume Design team led by Tony Award Winner Clint Ramos, and Sophia Choi, directed by Teddy Bergman, with original music by Helen Park and book by Jason Kim.

Written by Siting Yang and directed by Rakesh Palisetty, HanJie stars as Ma Luo, in this documentary-style play that takes a somber look at neocolonialism, race and the perils of personal choices in the face of complex global issues.

Led by Tony Award -winning costume designer, Linda Cho, HanJie joins the costume design team for this Broadway farce this spring. Written by Selina Fillinger and directed by multi-award winning director, Susan Stroman. Performances starting April 14th through to August 2022.

Sanctuary City marks the return of live theatre in NYC

Prior to the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, HanJie worked with award winning designer Tom Scutt, and Olivier Award winning director Rebecca Frecknall, to bring to life Sanctuary City - written by Pulitzer Prize Award winner, Martyna Majok.
Sanctuary City marks New York Theatre Workshop's first live performance since the shutdown.
Lead actor in 'Boxes', Creating Apart (2021)

Funded by the Arts Council England, HanJie is thrilled to be playing Jeremy, in Boxes. Written and directed by David Tse, as part of the Creating Apart series - a project aimed to increase visibility of East Asian and South East Asian artists within the United Kingdom.

Part of the Show Face Festival, founded during the pandemic lockdown, 'Behind the Screen' is one of the few pieces chosen for a global showcase during these tough times.

HanJie leads multiple voiceover roles in Lady Lucy

HanJie plays the lead voiceover characters of Phillip Henslowe and Will Shakespeare in the British-American podcast audio drama Lady Lucy, based on the 'Dark Lady' sonnets about the historical figure Lucy Negro.

Sing Street moves to Broadway!

Working with famed costume designer Bob Crowley, for the Broadway transfer of the acclaimed musical, Sing Street. Finishing its run at the New York Theatre Workshop, the new musical directed by Rebecca Taichman with choreography by Sonya Tayeh will be staged at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City.
